Aliens Aren't Real part one and two by Sabrina Sumsion soon is an amazing story about Jasmine Smith, a teenage military brat who wants to stay in one place for more than one month. She meets Yumi, Honorio, Malika, Tyrone, and Joseph, classmates of hers that seem to have no interest in her what so ever until they learn that her father is Colonel John Smith. She finally feels accepted into the group when she learns shocking but oddly sensible secret.I give this book a four out of five stars. I love the book cover. In my opinion sci-fi books are very hard to write and sometimes even harder to read but the author did a very good job. I can't wait to read more.

it really is a cute read. I am a sucker for teen fiction for the most part it is clean and this was one of the clean fun love stories. You wont be disappointed
A totally cute and attention grabbing short story. Promise! Mystery and comedy included! Also, interesting and original characters. Jasmine, Honorio, and... Mark. Oh my!!! I'm totally reading the second part of this series. )
I really enjoyed this book. It was a super quick read with an interesting story line. It started a bit slow, but once I got into it I couldn't put it down. The ending left me wanting more. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series!
This was a very good book but the main character does act a little bazaar. You do get drawn in but for an adult it is pretty unrealistic the way the teen agers behave but if you are a teen yourself you would not notice the holes in the plot. I would still recommend it and I will buy the Part 2 because you do get caught up and wonder where it will go
Jasmine is upset because her father who is a colonel is moving once again for some secret undercover matter on an Air Force Base in Omaha. For once in her life, she wants real friends, a permanent home and like all teenage girls, a boyfriend. Then by chance she meets this girl Yumi and they have a strong connection and are best friends. Yumi's friends strangely don't like Jasmine. One day she finds out their secret....
I enjoyed reading this book. Jasmine's character was well defined. I could feel the pain of her loneliness and of having a father who is too involved in his work and not in her life.
I loved her faithfulness, being a friend to Yumi even though Yumi's friends highly discouraged it. One of the characters (who I hate) takes it to the point of violence. There's a lesson in this story about trying to make someone your friend who doesn't want to. Good part to add in. The end of the book was fantastic! I'm like, no doubt, Jasmine is going to have two guys chasing her. Then, there's the other things I'm only guessing, but will have to wait for the answers. Those who read this book I know are asking Why, does Jasmine, a human have a connection with an alien? Why, is her father all of a sudden interested in her life? What is the true purpose of why these teenage aliens are on earth? There's only one thing wrong with book one. Book two is not available.
My bff is an author, and I've been waiting 'years' for book three of a great series that is only now available! Another author wrote a terrific romance introducing book number two's characters who not only have great passionate conflict, but humor as well. Her book is not done, the last time I asked, she's still working on it. **Important Note To Authors Who Write Good Books Please Do Not Release Book One Without Having The Sequels Available To Purchase!** I'm sure all those who love a great book and want to continue reading the story, will all agree with me.
I really enjoyed this book. It was one that catches you fast and makes you want to not stop reading until its done. The character development is fantastic, it is easy to get attached to these characters and feel you know them and care where their story takes them.
Jasmine, our heroine, is a portrayal of those universal teenage qualities, emotions, thought processes. Very enjoyable main character.
I am a longtime fan of sci-fi books, this one will stay in my collection for sure! I'm having my kids read it too.
The story idea was a good one, but this is not a whole book; it is very short and there is no ending - presumably so that the consumer will pay another $3 for a few more chapters. Also, I did not like the fact that the main character put herself through unbelievable emotional abuse, just to try to make friends with a group of 'kids' who didn't want her friendship; way overboard on that. And for those reasons, I cannot recommend it.
